Even though I'm not super into the genre I really loved this piece of work by David Stanley. This book was so well written and entertaining that at various parts i actually had goose bumps. I wish I had read this book when i was a bit younger because it inspires you to give life your all and never let others define you or what you could do. Whether you're into the military genre or not I highly recommend this book to adults and teens.

I was initially interested in reading this book due to its "espionage" overtone. However, once into this book, I was quite intrigued with what appears to be the author's firsthand and inside account regarding the British governments' covert operations and license to kill secret missions.

The writer tells the story of his friend, Dean, a member of the British special forces and number one trained go to guy for assassinations. Dean is highly trained in clandestine black ops assassinations and had the special privilege of driving police registered "do not stop" license plates. Dean's love of England is tarnished as a result of corrupt scandals throughout the British parliamentary house as he wonders just who the bad guys really are.

This book is a fascinating account of inside information on historical events such as what happens when foreigners attempt to de-stabilize the UK currency and purposeful act of attempting to keep England dependent on foreign oil, a period in history that occurred prior to the war in the Middle East - a period in time which also did not sit well with "The Banker" if you know whom that is.

Without revealing any more of this story, I was deeply intrigued with this authors inside knowledge of high level echelons as this book weaves a great deal of fact with what is said to be fiction, or is it? Does simple denial make it fiction?

Hopefully the next reviewer will have something to say about my tightness with only giving this book four stars. Where do the facts end and the fiction begin? In any case, it is a very fascinating read particularly since the author did not leave many players out.

A great read but I found it a bit short .No sooner were you in Belfast and the story ends.

I gave this book 5 stars, as i enjoyed it very much. It was funny, I could stop reading it until i had finished it.

David Stanley's new book 'Assassins List', so far his best read to date a very enjoyable book, interestingly put together with the use of historical facts he manages to build mental pictures as the plot thickens.
I would recommend this book to anyone.

Why is so hard to find government marines stats ? the Gov hiding the truth what do people think on gov figures accurate or fixed please leave comments.

i have been surfing for up to date Marines injury stats getting different stats and found some articles implying the stats are fixed really interested in the views of all on this i have been setting up this site for some time now and just added a blog to try and help drive more hits which seems very hard to do i never imaged that getting views and book sales that raise donations to the injured would be so hard guess im just small fry.

Over the last ten years both the Royal Marine Commandos and the US Marines have been engaged in some of the most severe fighting and it has came at a cost to so many.
Our injured Marines coming home with life changing injuries from IED,s has climbed over the last few years due to the talibans favor of this deadly weapon and the ease of use for the taliban with out themselfs in harms way.
combat against our Marines is never going to be successful for the taliban so these terror style bombings is their best option.
our troops give there all and the least we can do is to support them in small ways purchasing these books is a small yet nice option as you get a good read for the price of a few dollar donation.
The Marines have suffered losses in the thousands to date thus to keep us safer.
